Message from the Principal

It's a winter wonderland in Cleveland Heights today! One that we surely did not expect! For many of us, this morning's ride in took much longer than normal and we worry about the afternoon traffic for our girl's rides home. As you have hopefully heard by now, all evening events have been cancelled for today. Though there are many areas that seem fine, it appears that Cleveland Heights is taking the brunt of heavy snowfall and we worry about student's driving in this type of weather. Therefore, ALL EVENING EVENTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.

At this point we are beginning the discussion about our special day for tomorrow. Beaumont Day has been planned since the beginning of the school year and the one day that every student looks forward to all year long. It is our hope that things will go on as planned but please keep tuned to the local news and updates from the school to determine our status for tomorrow. Our Student Council moderators have assured me that the events and activities planned can all be postponed if needed. Maybe we should all pray to St. Angela for good weather tomorrow!

We continue to plan for our big St. Angela liturgy on Monday. The Bishop is still planning on celebrating the Mass with us. We will have the Ursuline Leadership Team in attendance as well. They are wonderful supporters and sponsors of our school and we are thrilled to be able to include them in this celebration. I once again extend an invitation to you as well. The liturgy should begin around 9:30 and there will be seating available in the back of the gymnasium for parents in attendance.
Report cards were mailed out this week. If you have not received a hard copy of your daughter's report, please contact the school office and we will help get you another copy.

Thanks to all who said prayers for safe travels for the students who were to have attended the March For Life in Washington, DC this week. Unfortunately, the area Catholic high schools had to make the decision to cancel the trip due to severe weather in the DC area. Though we could not be there in body, we, as a school community prayed for the unborn at our Homeroom Convocation on the anniversary date of Roe Vs. Wade. We know there is power in prayer so ask your continued prayers for the unborn.

Thanks for all you do for your daughters. It is great to begin the third quarter on such a positive and happy note. We appreciate your support.

Finally, it is not too late to register a team for Corn Hole. Sr. Erin is looking for one more team!
As always, Beaumont is blessed,

Mary Whelan
