The Energy of the End of the Year

School is winding down for the year.  Graduation is quickly approaching.  Students and teachers are looking toward summer and finalizing their activities in the classroom.  With all of the these "lasts" one would think that the pace of school would be slowing down.   Instead, the pace has accelerated, as it does every year, to one that is almost frenetic.  There are so many things happening every day that everyone is working in an enthusiastic flurry that is fueled by honest excitement and success.  Softball is heading to the Distric Finals.  Varsity track is heading to Regionals.  The Robobot teams swept the award categories by receiving best documentation, best presentation, and best engineering between the two teams that represented Beaumont for the competition.  Then, just when you think that it can't really get any better, you drive down North Park and see the STEM building--the magnificent representation of the future of Beaumont.  The concrete has been poured on both the floors, the roof has been detailed and inspected, and the duct work on the second floor has begun.  We have raised $7.2 million toward the $9.5 million goal.  If you haven't made a gift to the campaign, we still need your support.  Your gift will help perpetuate all of the positive energy pulsing through Beaumont.  Today, like every day, is a great time to be at Beaumont.
